Position Summary
This material management warehouse receives, inspects, stores, kits, and delivers approximately 38,000 process instruments, valves, and components used in the construction and equipment installation of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in northeast Houston. The Logistics Coordinator schedules and coordinates the movement of material into and out of the warehouse. The position manages the dock calendar, port pulls, driver dispatch, and site delivery schedule, including same-day priority releases, and supports the program’s on-time delivery target.

Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain the inbound and outbound dock calendar with the Warehouse Manager
• Dispatch drivers and coordinate port pulls, gate appointments, and carrier schedules
• Schedule daily site shuttle runs and same-day priority releases, including newborn-protocol runs for commissioned units
• Track shipments in transit and communicate delays or exceptions to the client and the warehouse team
• Maintain bills of lading, proofs of delivery, and shipping records
• Report on on-time delivery performance and support the 98%+ on-time target

Requirements
• 2+ years in logistics coordination, dispatch, or transportation scheduling
• Strong communication and organization skills under shifting priorities
• Comfort with scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and tracking systems

Preferred (Not Required)
• Port of Houston, drayage, or construction-site delivery experience
• Experience coordinating high-value or time-sensitive freight
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Office environment within the facility with regular dock presence; phone- and screen-heavy work.
